| Born
in Romania in 1951, Georges Mazilu is known internationally for his signature
style linking contemporary surrealism with the art of the Northern Renaissance.
Masterfully executed and bewitchingly beautiful, his paintings portray
mysterious figures seemingly caught in deep contemplation or frozen in
the midst of enigmatic rituals.
